This bright necklace is handmade from multiple pieces of individually handmade fused glass pieces.  Each of the multi-colored pieces is created by layering and stacking multiple cut pieces of glass, then fusing them together overnight in my kiln.  Then the fused stacks are recut and re-fused vertically in a second overnight fusing to create the unique swirl patterns.  Next the three multi-colored pieces are individually chosen and arranged by hand on the background black glass piece.  Finally I do a third and final firing in my kiln to fuse all the glass pieces into the finished art piece.  The necklace is then attached to a silver bail on the back and is strung on a 5-strand black satin 16" necklace with a lobster clasp.  The pendant is 1 inch wide by 2.5 inches long, not including the bail.
