This understated necklace is handmade from multiple pieces of individually handmade fused glass pieces. Each of the purple-gray pieces is created by layering and stacking multiple cut pieces of glass, then fusing them together overnight in my kiln. Then the fused stacks are recut and re-fused vertically in a second overnight fusing to create the unique swirl patterns. Next the three pieces are individually chosen and arranged by hand on the background white glass piece. Finally I do a third and final firing in my kiln to fuse all the glass pieces into the finished art piece. The necklace is then attached to a silver bail on the back and is strung on a 16" 4-strand black satin necklace with a lobster clasp. The pendant is 1.25 inches wide by 2.25 inches long, not including the bail.
