This handmade set of four purple speckled coasters are made of clear glass with small pieces of purple art glass fused to them.  The purple pieces are all slightly raised, adding an unusual texture as well as color.  Each coaster is five inches square, with a dropped center circle to prevent any liquids from spilling off of the edges.  These decorative and functional pieces are food safe, but should not be put in the dishwasher nor in the microwave.  The price is $42.00 for a set of four coasters.
